West Bengal Government come up with new housing scheme Nijoshree under this housing scheme government will provide 50000 flats to people whose monthly income less than Rs.30,000. The housing decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on wednesday following success of rehabilitation scheme “Banglar Bari” under which slum-dwellers of Kolkta and other municipalities in the state would be given a flats each Hakimtold reporters.
There are two categories of residential flats 1BHK and 2BHK flats. The 1BHK flats for people whose income up to 15,000 per months and 2BHK flats for people who have monthly income less than Rs.30,000.
West Bengal Nijoshree Housing Scheme Flats Details
The government will provide 2 categories of residential flats 1BHK and 2BHK under this housing scheme. The details and eligibility of the residential flats are as follows.
- 1BHK Flats have 1 Bedroom, 1 Halls and 1 Kitchen with carpet area of 378 sq.ft. Those earning up to Rs.15,000 per month would be eligible apply for 1BHK flats.
- 2BHK Flats have 2 Bedrooms, 2 Halls and 2 Kitchen with carpet area of 559 sq.ft. The people whose monthly income are not above Rs.30,000 per month would be eligible apply for 2BHK flats.
The cost of 1BHK flats would be Rs.7.28 lakh per unit while the cost of 2BHK flats would be Rs.9.26 lakh per unit and proposed project would come up on land available with different bodies.
