Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad (UPAVP) has come up with a new housing scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Authority has decided to construct around 20,000 houses in the state, out of 20,000 houses around 5,000 houses will be constructed in Lucknow.
Authority will spend an amount of Rs. 3,000 Crore on this housing project. Construction will be started as soon as authority gets permission be government.
A new comprehensive plan has been prepared for new Fiscal year 2017-18, after appointment of new CM in Uttar Pradesh.
Houses will be constructed under Vrindavan & Awadh Vihar Yojana. Currently 2,000 houses have been registered & now authority has a plan to open registrations for 3,000 more houses.
Instructions given by government will be followed for constructing houses.
Rudra Pratap Singh (Housing Commissioner) told hat housing scheme for constructing 20,000 houses will be implemented in entire state, but firstly this project is to be approved by government.
Authority will start accepting registrations to estimate number of houses to be constructed. There is no clear notification on government level about Housing Development Council or Other Agencies will open registration & allot under this housing scheme. More details will be uploaded soon.
