The government has given an approval to the first affordable housing project in Lucknow under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been started. The construction work of PMAY affordable housing project in Lucknow has been started which is contributed by Lucknow Development Authority.
The project will spread over the area of 10 acres at Kanpur Road, about five kilometers from Amuasi airport at Parth Township.
The construction work of the housing project has been given to Parth Infrabuild Pvt Ltd and the officials of the company said that the construction work already started and we have targeted to construct 2146 flats by 2020. And the possession of flats in the scheme would be given in next 3 years.
It will have affordable flats for EWS (economically weaker section) and LIG (lower income group), MIG (medium income group) and HIG (higher income group). The cost of EWS and LIG flats in the scheme will be available in the range of Rs. 6.0 lakh to 1.30 lakh.
The flats in PMAY housing project would be available in the size in between 473 square feet to 553 square feet.
As Lucknow listed in the list 100 smart cities and keeping this in mind the project will come with facilities and features such as customer portal, traffic management system, Wi-Fi zone, PNG gas, iconic tower, open and green spaces, optical fibre accessibility etc..
As per the information received from the source, the registration of flats would be started from 31 March and application would be received till 31 April 2017.
