PMAY Uttar Pradesh – Government Released First Installment to Beneficiaries

Government has released first installment of PM Awas Yojana to beneficiaries in Mau, UP for construction of houses under Housing for All Mission. Government had targeted to provide 1,076 houses to poor families in 92 Gram Panchayats in area of Ranipur Block. Out of those 936 successful applicants have been benefited.

A total amount of Rs. 3,74,40,000/- has been allotted to them. A provision to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1,20,000/- has been set under PMAY, out of which Rs. 40,000/- has been transferred to bank accounts of beneficiary families to implement this housing scheme.

Rest of installments will be provided after using installment amount for purpose of construction of house. In case, installment amount is misused further installments will be cancelled. Officials have decided to transfer rest of the installments as soon as possible to make affordable houses available to each & every needy families of Mau,Uttar Pradesh.
