PMAY Haryana – Received 9 lakh Applications

9 lakh application has been received in Haryana for PM Narendra Modi’s approved housing scheme named as Pradhan mantri Awas Yojana as said by Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
A number of housing schemes were reviewed in the meeting. CM of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar & Minister of Urban Local Bodies Kavita Jain assisted Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation & Urban Development to address press conference on this matter.

First installment of Rs. 92 crore was delivered on 4th Jan 2017 & second instalment of Rs. 96 crore has also been delivered to the State Government.

Till now 8.97 lakh online application has been received in Haryana for PMAY. List of successful applicants will be released by July this year. Like other schemes, subsidy in interest will also be applicable to beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

State Government is requested to finish PMAY Demand Survey by the end of July 2017, which was conducted to know the required numbers of house to be constructed for people in Haryana. Also requested to present work plan of Housing for All mission by the month of August 2018.

A MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) has been signed by the State Government to make Housing for All mission a huge success.
