The state government of Uttar Pradesh is targeting to allot 9,984 houses under PM Awas Yojana in Sonbhadra district. Though housing schemes have already been launched in Uttar Pradesh, government is identifying homeless people under PMAY Demand Survey to make Housing for All mission successful.

Government has ensured to provide affordable dwelling unit to candidates that belongs to weaker section of the society. Around 3,200 candidates in 8 blocks have been found eligible for target of PMAY 2017-18. Government would transfer financial assistance to each beneficiary’s bank account.

As per sources, government is keeping those candidates on priority who are living in kutcha house or living in others house. To identify eligible candidates, authority is conducting demand survey in various blocks of Sonbhadra. Here we have prepared a list of blocks for PMAY Demand Survey:

  • Ghorawal
  • Robertsganj
  • Daduhi
  • Chatra
  • Nagawa
  • Myorepur
  • Chopan
  • Bhawani

Survey will be completed till 31 August 2017 to receive applications from candidates who don’t have their own house.
For the construction of houses, government would transfer an amount of money to beneficiaries bank accounts through RTGS.

Rs. 1.30 lakh would be given in form of financial assistance. PMAY demand survey is free of cost to all. If any officer demands for money of any kind of fee, he/she can contact to below number to register complaint.
