PM Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh -17 Lakh Homes Target for Next Three Year

State government of Uttar Pradesh has the target of constructing of 17 lakh houses to complete Prime Minister dream projects under PMAY.
The affordable houses will be made under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana which available for all by 2022. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed that BJP government has set the target of constructing 27 lakh homes across the state under PMAY, while addressing the achievements of BJP government.
5 lakh homes projects would be started from this month under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for rural poor families. The government has planning to provide affordable and free houses.
11,286 homes would be provided to those people whose annual household income is less than Rs.3Lakh in first phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Uttar Pradesh and the construction cost of these houses would be Rs. 384.59 crore.
The central sponsored scheme mainly benefits the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and lower income group (LIG) of the society by providing them homes at low cost and financial assistance for enhancement of old house.
