Department of Town Development in Jharkhand has decided to implement its much awaited Jharkhand Housing Scheme by providing affordable houses to 40,000 poor families under PM Awas Yojana. Ashish Singhmar Director of Town Development Department would provide housing units to beneficiaries on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti this year. Authority had already identified land which was required for the completion of this project under the third component of PMAY. Also they had ordered to allot required land to bodies of Mango, Jamshedpur & Adityapur.
Authority had targeted to construct 605 housing units in Mango. Out of which construction of 533 houses have been done & about 114 eligible applicants have been allotted house. According to sources, Mango had made an agreement to construct 19 houses & an agreement for 53 units will be done within upcoming week.
Officials have considered weaker sections of the society & to rehabilitate them as soon as possible by providing them houses.
Due to poor supply of raw material, construction had been delayed but now authority will be responsible to provide all material which is required.
All candidates must meet all requirements of PM Awas Yojana to buy house on reasonable price.
