Maharashtra got 21,000 Houses Sanctioned under PMAY

Maharashtra Affordable Housing Scheme – Center has approved around 21,000 houses under PMAY in Maharashtra out of which 18,000 units will be constructed in MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region). Centre’s Appraisal Committee took decision to sanction houses as a conclusion of a meeting held few days ago. EWS & LIG category houses will be constructed at various locations of Maharashtra including Navi Mumbai, Thane.

Details of houses under Maharashtra Housing Scheme

Here we have mentioned locations & number of houses that have been sanctioned:

Navi Mumbai: 15,000 houses sanctioned in will be constructed at Taloja, Kalamboli, Kharghar and Dronagiri.

Thane: TMC (Thane Municipal Corporation) would be responsible to build houses in Thane which will be located on government land in Betwade, Mhatardi & Padle.

Considering welfare of each section of the society government has reserved of 3,000 houses as mentioned below:

  • 40% Houses- project-affected people.
  • 40% Houses- Affordable Segment.
  • 20% Houses – MIG.

Maharashtra: Res of the 3,000 houses would be located at Chandrapur, Nashik & others, whih will be launched by MHADA.

Area of houses will be 300 sq. feet for which a financial assistance of Rs. 2.5 lakh will be allotted in proportion of 1.5 lakh by Central & Rs. 1 lakh by State Government.
