Uttar Pradesh Government has started conducting demand survey for PM Awas Yojana at Dhampur City situated in Bijnor to provide roof to poor families under Housing for All (HFA) mission. Government has issued a notification to conduct demand survey in every city & village to calculate required number of houses to bridge the gap for housing at Bijnor.
Officials have already started surveying homeless & poor families to implement PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) successfully & to make sure that every single family gets an affordable house.
Candidates who were willing to buy house under PMAY in UP, they have a chance to apply.
Also government targeted to provide affordable house to needy families which is almost 6 times more than target set earlier.
Beneficiary families will be able to get financial assistance of Rs. 1.20 lakh in following installments, mentioned below:
- First Installment – Rs. 40,000/-
- Second Installment – Rs. 70,000/-
- Third Installment – Rs. 10,000/-
All three installments will be transferred to bank accounts of beneficiaries after predetermine time period. Rs. 15,000/- will also be provided under MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) to beneficiary if he/she wishes to work as a labor under PMAY.
