MHADA Maharashtra will be launching its much awaited housing scheme named as MHADA Lottery 2017 for allotment of around 800 flats, which are located in Mumbai. As per sources, advertisement for MHADA Maharashtra Lottery 2017 will be out within 10 days to start inviting applications. MHADA has never delayed so much but sooner MHADA Lottery 2017 will be its 7th annual lottery. This Maharashtra Housing Project has been registered with RERA.
Authority is discussing to increase number of flats offered under MHADA Lottery 2017 for which over 150 houses have been added. Mumbai Repair & Reconstruction Board has provided houses out of master list. According to sources, few houses have been taken from MHADA Lotteries which were launched few years ago.
A few time ago, an announcement had been made that MHADA Lottery 2017 is not offering flats for EWS candidates but authority had nod to provide flats for the as well.
Houses are located at different locations which are still unused, area of flats relies between 160 sq. feet to over 300 sq. feet. Such flats would be reserved for EWS category candidates. As per sources, size of flats would be increased by developers.
Authority has not yet decided the price of flats because GST may impact on cost of flats. According to an estimate, there can be 12% surcharges on prices of flats, offered by MHADA.
After starting advertisement for MHADA Lottery 2017, applications will be invited from general public.
MHADA would provide application forms at Rs. 300/- (Excluding GST) while Rs.336/- (Including GST) will be charged.
According to sources, a few more flats have been added to MHADA Lottery 2017. Flats will be located at various location of Maharashtra mentioned below:
- Pratiksha Nagar
- Kannamwar Nagar at Vikhroli
Buyers need not to worry about external charges as all ready possession flats under MHADA Lottery 2017 are completely exempted from GST (Goods & Services Tax).
A senior of MHADA told that they are not expecting GST impact on all flats, charges may be applicable only on those flats, which does not have occupation certificate.
