50% Houses for Mill Workers under Upcoming MHADA Lottery

CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis is committed to provide affordable houses to Mill Workers & a comprehensive layout has been prepared to accomplish Maharshtra Housing Project. Resources such as Mill Land, MHADA Rental Houses & Revenue Land will be integrated.

Government has been putting a huge efforts to make affordable dwelling units easily available to needy people. Around 50% of housing units will be available to Maharashtra Mill Workers. To make availability of land for implementation of Maharashtra Housing Project, amendments have been made in DC (Development Control).

As per sources, land of State Revenue Government Department will be used for the construction of houses. No development project has been prepared for 17 textile mills.

MHADA launched various housing & development projects under which 1,48,067 applications has been submitted for which 6,925 houses has been allotted by conducting draw of lots & 8,644 are under construction.
Government has ensured to provide more houses to mill workers under MHADA’s upcoming Lottery.
