Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) will construct 23,000 houses on public-private partnership mode under the scheme of Housing For All. According to officials, the proposal was forwarded to the UHD department for administrative approval.
Rajasthan Housing Board would provide funds per unit to the firm which will take up construction work on the board`s land. The RHB will monitor the housing project and inspect the quality control. The proceesto invite firms on public-private partnership model will be start in March.
The approval has been provided by UDH minister and Rajasthan Housing Board has already maaped the land where the houses will be constructed. The tender process for this project will start soon.
Rajasthan Housing Board has proposed to constructs 12,000 housing units for EWS and LIGs. After facing a ban of nearly 2 years on new housing projects, the VRajasthan Housing Board was recently provided relief by the UDH minister who granted them permission to construct housing units under Mukhyantri Awas Yojana. Rajasthan Housing Board was constituted to build houses on a no profit no loss basis.
