Bhopal Housing Scheme 2017 – government is planning to construct 31,726 houses under PM Narendra Modi’s flagship scheme to meet the target of Housing for All mission. Location of houses will be Arera Colony of Bhopal. To make affordable houses easily available to weaker section of the society, EWS houses will be sold out at price of Rs. 2 lakh.
Construction of houses will be done into a complex which will be named as Modi Shiv Enclave. To meet the target, all 31,729 houses will be constructed in a housing complex under phase-I of this housing project. Total cost of this project is estimated to be Rs. 136 crore.
Details of Houses
Government has started constructing houses at various locations of Bhopal. Here we have mentioned all details of houses:
Bus Stop No. 12, Bhopal
- EWS Houses – 1,008 Units
- LIG Houses – 576 Units
- MIG Houses – 316 Units
Houses will be built in 6 storied complex. Government has ensured to provide basic amenities along with houses.
Construction of houses will be done at locations including Kokta Transport Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Vajpayee Nagar
- EWS Houses – 19,364 Units
- LIG Houses – 7,886 Units
- MIG Houses – 2,676 Units
The total price of EWS houses will be Rs. – 8 lakh out of which Rs. 1.5-1.5 lakh will be contributed by State & central Government as financial assistance. Rs. 3 lakh will be provided by the city government.
Thus EWS houses will be available to candidates in just Rs. 2 lakh.
